My 2 1/2 year old son suddenly a few months ago became petrified of anything to do with touching his head - we can't wash it, comb it or get it cut without an enormous meltdown from him.
He screams that we're hurting him even before we go near him and bath time and haircuts are almost impossible.
He was fine with all of this up until a few months ago.
I feel that maybe something happened to his head (i.e. hair pulling by another child or getting it caught somewhere) that has caused this fear but I'm not sure if maybe I'm overthinking it too.
Anyone else have the same problem with their little one and how did you overcome it.
Thanks in advance.
